Can I get a pap smear if I had sex the night before?
Ok, my doctor told me not to have sex the day before I was scheduled for my pap smear. I had sexual intercourse last night and my appt. is in about an hour. Will this affect my results? Will I test positive for STD's I dont have?

You should be fine. I had sex the night before my pap smear and was freaking out about it because I didn't know how it would affect the results. When I went into my appointment I just let my doctor know that I had sex the night before so they would know, but my doctor said it's no big deal and it's doesn't make any difference on the tests. You sould be fine, although your doctor might be peeved at you for not following her instructions.
