Is there such a thing as an STD certificate a person can show before you have sex?

What I mean is is there such a thing like a certificate or history or just some kind of background check in paper format one can show another person if he or she wants to have sex with that person? Sorry if i don't make much sense hopefully you know what i mean

Guessing you want to make sure your partner is disease free. If you want to get checked out just go to the doc and get some blood taken. They can test it and make sure there are no STD's. You and your friend can get a copy of the results. Also some cities have free clinics where you can be tested.
