Does a condom need to be used during sex if my doctor told me my birth control is 100% effective?

I just saw my gyno today and told her I had become sexual active, and asked her if my birth control was effective at preventing pregnacy. She' said at my weight which is about 104 at a height of 5'4 she said that my pill would be 100% effective at preventing pregnacy. So does my boyfriend still need to use a condom during sex, if we have both been checked for an STD or AIDs and both of us have neither?

NO birth control is 100% effective. I'd still use the condom. Doubling up on the protection won't hurt.
